Characteristics of lithium battery pack:
1. Specific energy: under the same volume, the specific energy of lithium battery is 3-4 times higher than that of lead-acid battery, twice higher than that of nickel-cadmium battery, and twice higher than that of nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery. Therefore, if the battery power is the same, the lithium battery will be smaller and lighter than that of lead-acid battery, nickel-cadmium battery and nickel-hydrogen rechargeable battery.
2. Long life: lead-acid batteries can be recycled for about 300 times. However, the capacity of a single lithium iron phosphate battery charged at 1C at room temperature is still more than 80% after 2000 cycles, and the service life of the 3C cycle system is more than 800 times. Lead-acid batteries have very high requirements for working temperature. When the working temperature is very high, its service life shall not exceed five years. Under the same standard, lithium iron phosphate rechargeable battery has a longer service life.
3. Excellent high temperature characteristics: the maximum electric heating value of lithium iron phosphate reaches 350~500 ℃, the operating temperature range is wide (- 20~+75 ℃), and it can still release 100% volume at high temperature (60 ℃).
4. Charge and discharge of polymer cell: the charge and discharge curve of lithium iron phosphate battery in the figure can still reach 90% even when the charge and discharge multiple is 4C.
5. Fast charging: fast charging and charging and discharging can have a large electric flow of 2C. The battery can be fully charged within 40 minutes under the special charging head, and the starting current reaches 2C. However, lead-acid batteries do not have such characteristics at this stage.
6. Safety: The safety comes from the reliability of the battery cathode material and the reliable safety factor design scheme. The lithium iron phosphate battery completely solves the safety risks of lithium cobaltate and lithium iron phosphate. Lithium cobaltate and lithium iron phosphate will be caused in the case of strong impact, while the lithium iron phosphate battery has already been subjected to rigorous safety tests, and will not be caused even in the case of strong impact.
7. Ecological and environmental protection: The raw materials of lithium iron phosphate battery are free of all heavy metals and nonferrous metals that exceed the standard. No matter how they are manufactured or applied, they are pollution-free and comply with European RoHS standards. They are emerald green batteries. However, lead-acid batteries contain a lot of lead. If the waste is not properly disposed, it will still cause secondary pollution to the natural environment.
8. Non-memory: rechargeable lithium batteries often work under the condition of battery charging, and the working capacity of the battery will rapidly reduce to below the short-circuit capacity. This kind of condition is called memory. For example, Ni-MH rechargeable battery, Ni-Cd battery, lead-acid battery, etc. have memory capacity, while lithium iron phosphate battery rechargeable battery does not exist.
